Raising capital is never just financial.
It is
cultural.

YOU'RE PROBABLY HERE BECAUSE...

You’ve replayed conversations after pitch meetings. Wondered whether confidence was interpreted differently. Balanced building a business with navigating assumptions you could never quite prove.

If that feels familiar, you are not alone. Diary of a Funded Woman exists to examine those experiences thoughtfully, constructively and without theatrics.

WHY WE EXIST

Start here.

Diary of a Funded Woman was created to examine the realities of raising capital as a female founder. Not from the outside looking in, but from lived experience within the funding ecosystem itself.

The manifesto explores why this platform exists, the patterns many women encounter while raising investment, and the belief that systems improve when they are examined honestly, thoughtfully, and without theatrics.

OUR MISSION

We are dedicated to documenting and examining the lived experience of raising capital as a female founder, and contributing thoughtfully to how funding ecosystems evolve.

OUR PURPOSE

Creating clarity where silence has allowed assumptions to persist.

OUR IMPACT

Shaping conversations around investment culture and founder experience.

OUR VISION

A funding ecosystem where female founders are recognised for competence, capability and commercial rigour.

Our long-term vision is to contribute to a shift in how capital is understood and deployed, building a credible platform of insight, amplifying diverse founder experiences, and influencing conversations that shape policy, investment behaviour and opportunity at scale.
